Aesthetix 2 - Tyrone Williams

£7.50

Aesthetix 2, a new zine from Tyrone Williams & Village.

A controlled chaos, embracing the freedom of the image where bounds and restrictions of what is ‘real’ are reconstructed. A maximalist exploration of the photographic image.

"Starting the project Aesthetix a few years ago now it was originally started to see how tangible the image was, a complete contrast in approach to how I usually work with imagery.. highlighting details in the everyday scenes, Often trying to find magic within chaos. For this series I am extending the process of just taking the image but trying to bend and remould them into something completely different, pushing values & pixels. Embracing the image & digital format of the image whilst trying to keep the raw essence that was apparent in the original frame. For me, the raw essence is the intent and belief you put into the image itself, something I have transferred into editing the image rather than taking a photo. ” -Williams
