Since 2021 PHOTOMAFIA has grown and evolved alongside the community. While the studio has grown our message has stayed the same, inspire young creatives to do something, provide a hub for creatives in the area to gather and provide a platform to showcase their work and achievements.
ART AND CULTURE IN NORTHAMPTON
exhibitions
We’ve been hosting monthly exhibitions since 2022, a platform for Northampton’s art culture a chance to shine without diluting its voice, as well as an opportunity for local people to come together and socialise in a welcoming setting.
We give 4 Exhibitions away a year for free, bringing forward voices who otherwise wouldn’t have the funding to do so, or rarely get an opportunity to hear their voices heard.

Our bookshop was added to the studio in January 2025, providing another platform for artists to get their work seen, through photo books, zines and various physical media. As well as introduce local artists to contemporary names from all around the world, providing an invaluable resource for inspiration and creating pathways for creatives to grow and progress in their careers
